Road transport: more than from A to B

Road transport is still an important player within transport. Road transport is and remains flexible, relatively fast and has a high geographic coverage.  

The quality of our road transport is high. As a matter of fact, it cannot be viewed separately from our other logistical activities. Our strength is in particular the combination of warehousing, ‘value added logistics’ and the follow-up transport. We are also distinctive because of our ability to solve 'last minute' commissions. The road transport offered by Van der Helm-Hudig has been priced very competitively without an exception.  

Van der Helm-Hudig may be called an expert in the field of container transport within the Netherlands and an expert in the distribution of both groupage shipments and complete shipments within the Benelux, Germany, France, Portugal, Spain and Greece. With our modern transport fleet, which we can also apply for the transport of hazardous substances (ADR), we always have a suitable transport. We have hood trailers, silo trucks, tankers, refrigerated trailers and container chassis at our disposal. And, if required, we will drive your own trailers to the right destination.  

Van der Helm-Hudig has about 120 drawn vehicles and makes use of about 100 charters. All vehicles are protected according to the highest safety class and have a board computer, with which the vehicles are completely 'trackable and traceable' through GPS. We obviously meet all prevailing standards, such as ISO, SQAS, GMP and HACCP.
