Moerdijk

The second pillar in our organisation is Van der Helm – Hudig Moerdijk BV. Since the opening of this very modern logistical centre in 2008 a large part of our warehousing and logistical activities have been taking place here. Our distribution centre in Moerdijk is a very popular location for distribution to the European market because of its perfect location between the sea ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp. The central location makes it easy to use various forms of transport: road transport, rail transport, inland navigation or aviation are all within reach. This makes the distribution throughout Europe much easier.   

The total surface area for storage is 40,000m2. It consists of 8 compartments and has a total capacity of about 80,000 pallets. We make use of the most advanced equipment. Your goods are monitored 24 hours a day, according to safety level 4; the highest level on the international standard for security.  

Now that all our storage and shipping has been definitively combined under one roof since January 2010, we can present ourselves in a clear way.  One organisation, shorter communication lines, more facilities and therefore more efficiency.
